We are Columbus

We are eight counties, united to grow our region. We are a business community that is facing today's challenges together. We are a diverse business population representing start-ups to major corporations who are confident in Columbus. We are Columbus.

Four key strategies drive the Columbus Chamber's initiatives.

  • Market the assets of the region: Generate awareness of the Columbus region among those who decide where to locate a business.
  • Regionalism: Coordinate a regional approach to economic development and the management of prospects
  • Regional asset development: Grow the region's assets including workforce, infrastructure, business-friendly policies and quality of life.
  • Support for local business through membership value: Help existing businesses grow and prosper by connecting them to new customers, marketing their company, and reducing expenses.

Our mission is to lead and support economic growth and development for the Greater Columbus community. We will achieve that mission through activities that benefit our members and attract new investment to Columbus. Our approach is strong. Aggressive. Collaborative. Focused. Regional. Unified.

Go to our 2008 Action Plan (pdf) to learn how we will guide economic growth and prosperity for our members and our community.
